Nicholas Sheldon

Starting Spring 2026, I'm an Agentic AI Engineer at IBM, working on mainframe systems — building autonomous AI agents that help modernize and operate z/OS environments.

I graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. With a strong foundation in languages such as C, C++, Python, x86 Assembly, Java, and Haskell, I've focused on applying that background to real-world, systems-level problems — from AI scheduling research to autonomous vehicle software to, now, agentic AI for the mainframe.
